Gocycle Riders (Don’t Try This at Home) M.A.D.—UK’s professional mountain bike stunt and display team— showed off some amazing stunts on the Gocycle during a bicycle trial event organised by Evans Cycles for GlaxoSmithKline. GlaxoSmithKline employees were treated to M.A.D. stunts including a rider hopping a Gocycle on its back wheel on the roof of a Land Rover.

04.2010 Gocycle Part of Best Buy’s Grand Opening in UK On the 30th of April, Best Buy opened its first UK store in Thurrock, with Gocycle included in the store’s “GreenTech” product offering amongst other electric vehicles, as well as energy management and generation products. Over the exciting four day Grand Opening weekend in Thurrock—which saw thousands of customers attend—a fleet of Gocycles were available for test rides. Best Buy has since opened stores in Hedge End (Southampton) and Merry Hill (West Midlands), with more to follow later in the year.

12.2009 Gocycle Santas Take London by Storm Gocycle kicked off the Christmas season with a Gocycle Santa ride crossing the city of London en masse and causing quite a stir as they went. The thirty-strong team of Gocycle Santas took to the roads of central London on Wednesday, 9th December, bringing high-speed Christmas cheer to Oxford Street, Winter Wonderland, Harrods, Selfridges and more.
09.2009 Gocycle and VIPs Join Tour of Britain Final Stage The Prostate Cancer Charity—sponsor of UK’s The Tour of Britain—chose Gocycle as the VIP cycle for its charity event that preceded the final stage of the Tour. Before the professionals completed their final circuit, VIPs and high-profile celebrity cycling fans were provided an exclusive opportunity to ride ahead of the professional peloton in a double parade lap. 09.2008 Cleaner Transport Tour In 2007, the Cleaner Transport Tour already showed that cleaner transport is possible. After the opening of the first electricity re-charge station in the Netherlands at the NDSM wharf by alderman Marijke Vos and Tjeerd Heerema, there were more than 80 different clean energy means of transport gliding and driving through Amsterdam.
